With summer in full force, we've seen a slowdown of executive moves in the beauty industry. However, we have also seen emerging brands beefing up their leadership ranks, and founders stepping down from C-suite roles. This business trend has kept recruiters busy in the hunt for senior talent. As part of an agreement with shareholder Boohoo, CEO Bob Holt and board Chair and Senior Independent Director Derek Zissman have agreed to step down from Revolution Beauty's board. Holt will stay at the UK-based beauty brand as interim CEO until August 31. Alistair McGeorge, Neil Catto, Rachel Horsefield, and Peter Hallett will join the board, with McGeorge appointed as executive chairman. Elizabeth Lake will remain on the board and stay in the CFO position. Entrepreneur Tristan Walker steps down as CEO of the brands he founded, Walker & Co. Brands, which includes Bevel for men’s grooming and Form for women’s hair. The company was sold to Procter & Gamble in 2018, and Walker became the first Black CEO under the company’s umbrella. Walker will continue to advise P&G on attracting and retaining exceptional, "culturally astute talent," and developing products with authentic messaging for multicultural consumers.Tula’s Chief Executive Officer Savannah Sachs is departing the company after five years in the position. P&G acquired Tula in early 2022, and the brand sits within P&G’s specialty beauty division. Sachs will be succeeded by Colin Walsh, who will serve as interim CEO. Walsh currently serves as head of P&G's specialty beauty division.Boma Brown-West has been appointed Credo Beauty’s Vice President of Sustainability and Impact.
